Staircase Solutions for Architects

In addition to offering clients architectural metalwork and staircase solutions from our Irish made Signatures Stairs range, we are happy to use our 20 years experience and ISO approved quality standards to collaborate with professional architects and engineers to fabricate to their specifications on stairs, exterior railings, balconies, canopies, and other architectural metalwork.

Early Consultation:

In the interest of finding the best product solution we encourage clients to discuss their needs with us at the early planning stage. We are happy to give advice on general specifications, site preparation and possible budgets.

Estimating:

Our Estimating department produces concise unambiguous estimates based on the clients plans and specifications. Our contracts provide detailed costs, delivery dates and credit schedules to aid client budgeting and project scheduling.

Survey:

Each Signature stairs, railing, balcony etc. is custom built to the exact measurements of individual sites. This full survey ensures accuracy of the finished product and that all relevant site conditions are taken into account when drawing.

Structural Assurance:

All standard products in the range structurally approved and we work closely with our structural engineering partners to offer certification on any one-off projects.

Drawing:

Prior to manufacture, clients receive CAD and 3-dimensional drawings for approval. At this stage of the process fixing details and any preparation work required by contractors are agreed prior to final sign off and production, to an agreed schedule.

Manufacturing Process:

Our ISO approved quality control systems are applied to all aspects of the fabrication ensuring consistent quality standards. Products are produced by highly skilled fitters, in one of Ireland's most technological advanced fabrication facilities enabling finishes and accuracy that are simply not available elsewhere.

Installation:

Our installation team comprised of qualified welders and fitters including stainless steel experts will install your finished stairs to an agreed schedule. They are fully certified in safe pass & manual handling and all tools used are regularly calibrated and carry up to date certification.

Joinery:

Signature Stairs are predominately metal structures which are timber clad as required after fabrication. O'Carroll Engineering only use joiners that produce finished product that match our exacting standards. They can offer a myriad of solid wood types and lacquered finishes as well as solid engineered curved handrails.
